In Mark 6 Jesus wanted a day off. He and his disciples were so busy that he told them, "Come away by yourselves to a lonely place." So they got into a boat and sailed with Jesus to a place away from the crowds.

Some months ago, as Nancy and I were driving home from the Aldersgate Renewal Ministries Family Conference in Ohio, we stopped at a small town in Indiana.

A woman approached me near the end of a healing revival. She said, "I must apologize to you."

I couldn't imagine why she should apologize to me about anything. She explained that at the opening worship service of the revival I had shared a word of knowledge that God was healing someone's toe. She said that sounded so ridiculous. She didn't really believe that God did any healings, and if he did, she was sure God wouldn't waste time on something as unimportant as someone's toe! She decided that I was silly and a faker. She even became angry about it.

This summer my wife and I have had prophetic words spoken over us by several people. I have had them in the past, but they are getting more insistent and clear. They said that we are to stir up Revival Fires in Oklahoma.

Please join us in praying for revival to come to Oklahoma, that there will be a wall to wall stirring for God in our beloved state! Nancy and I have seen some powerful breakthroughs of the Holy Spirit in the past months: healings, people accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, folks getting activated to boldly witness and share Jesus.

Once while Nancy and I and a couple of our friends were at a training on healing ministry in Jacksonville, Florida, I had the opportunity to chat with Dr. Francis MacNutt. He told me that one of his best friends had been a United Methodist healing evangelist by the name of Dr. Tommy Tyson.

This past Tuesday evening, Nancy and I started teaching a new class on healing prayer at the Bristow OK UM Church’s Rhanda Foster Community Center (behind the main building).

Last fall Nancy and I had the wonderful privilege of helping lead a revival at a church. It was great to be a part of it!
