“A Prayer for Revival in Oklahoma”
Please join us in praying for revival to come to Oklahoma, that there will be a wall to wall stirring for God in our beloved state! Nancy and I have seen some powerful breakthroughs of the Holy Spirit in the past months: healings, people accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, folks getting activated to boldly witness and share Jesus. Just yesterday Nancy got a word from God that we would pray for someone in a store we were about to enter. We told the woman in front of us what God had said, and asked her if she had pain in her back and if we could pray for it. She told us that for 15 years she had constant pain of "12" on a scale of 1 to 10. After asking, Nancy laid hands on her and prayed for her right there. She was healed, her pain went away, and she joyfully told us it was at 0. We know God is really up to something wonderful. Please join us in praying that there will be revivals in every church and every town and city of our state. If you are willing to join with us in praying for revival in Oklahoma, please let us know! A Prayer: Living God, thank you for loving our state of Oklahoma and its people of every race and language. We pray for every seed of revival which has already been planted to sprout and bear much holy fruit for you. We pray for more seeds of revival to be planted in every place from Boise City to Broken Bow and from Hollis to Miami. We pray for revival in our biggest cities and our tiniest towns and in every neighborhood and crossroad. We pray that churches of every type and size will begin holding revivals in the coming months so that the Gospel of salvation in Jesus will be plainly and unashamedly preached to everyone. We pray that the tens of thousands of people in our state who do not believe in Jesus will receive invitations to these revivals where they can accept him as Savior and Lord. We pray that the tens of thousands of cold and luke-warm Christians in our state will become reignited to live in true devotion and discipleship to Jesus. We pray that your Spirit will give to each and every Christian a greater boldness and commitment to win our state to you! In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
